ABOUT US

Elkanah Onyeali Care Foundation (EOCF), was conceived out of the passion of the founder to sustain the humanitarian and philanthropic life style of his late father by contributing meaningfully and constructively to the development of his community and beyond.

EOCF began by supporting the indigent ones and widows in the community before our founder deemed it necessary to make it a structured brand that can carry all the elements of his vision making it a sustainable reality.

Armed with the legal authority of CAC registration in June 7, 2018 (CAC IT NO 112644), we set out to immortalize the legacies of our visioner, A football legend that was iconic with humanitarian life style, Late Elkanah Onyeali aka “Mercedes”, first black to play for Tranmere Rovers FC, England in the 60’s, focusing on his Core Values by enhancing Social Development through Women and Youth Empowerment.

Mission Statement: EOCF believes that giving humanity a Midas -Touch can help individuals and families who are less privileged in the community build hope for better lives. To meet this goal; we are creating a movement which seeks to broaden public awareness and inclusion in every part of our alliance to increase our impact.

Vision Statement: We Hope in the nearest future to provide Advocacy, Education, Training, Support and Empowerment for individuals, groups and families when we reach our goals. It is our desire equally to broaden awareness on the capacity of our beneficiaries in the near future to give humanity a Midas –Touch.

OUR CAUSES

To ensure a precise specialization, attention was paid to the primary objectives, which hinged towards collaborating relevant stakeholders to enhance human –capacity development through youth education, Sports/Entertainment and positive information.
In the past 2 years of our existence, Elkanah Onyeali Care Foundation have been in the forefront of catering for the needs of the less privileged ones in Umumjam Village, Ihitte Mbieri Community in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state.

Although some of the activities have been centered on persons from the immediate community of our founder, we have equally on several occasions extended the work to persons beyond the community.
